Where do the names, surnames and patronymics come from?
The generator randomly combines entries from lists of common Russian first names, surnames and patronymics according to the selected gender. Each part can be switched on separately, and a single run returns up to several dozen variants.
Do the generated names match real people?
A combination may coincide with the name of a real person by chance, because it is assembled from common first names and surnames. No personal data is involved: the generator queries no databases of people and does not keep the results.
What is a full name generator for?
For test data: filling databases, checking sign-up forms and list layouts, demos and teaching examples — anywhere you need plausible names but must not use the data of real people.
